Natalia Testa holds a BA in political science from Universidad Diego Portales (Chile), an MA in sociology from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and an MSc in social policy and planning from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Before pursuing her PhD, she served as an advisor at Chile’s Department of Labor, coordinating and designing the country’s national labor migration policy. Her research aims to inform policy decisions by using causal methods to assess the impact of immigration policies, especially regularization programs, on healthcare systems, family structures and labor markets.
