Catherine Curtis

Catherine Curtis is the program coordinator at the Do Good Institute at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy. She is responsible for managing Impact Interns, Mini-Grants and the Do Good Challenge competition. She oversees the full program cycle for each opportunity, from application and review to award administration and participant support, ensuring smooth operations and meaningful outcomes. With a focus on efficiency and stakeholder engagement, Curtis works to create accessible, high-impact programs that support both student development and community needs. 

Prior to joining the Do Good Institute, Curtis completed her master’s of public policy at the University of Maryland where she focused on social policy, restorative justice, the intersection of law and society and advocacy work. She also graduated summa cum laude with her bachelor's in public policy from UMD. Curtis completed the graduate certificate in nonprofit management and leadership in 2025.
